• Getting Started with the openCollabNet Community

The goal of the OCN community is to encourage innovation and development around the TeamForge and Subversion platforms, as well as to provide free workspace for software projects related to these platforms.

    openCollabNet Code of Conduct

In the OCN community, we collaborate openly on a volunteer basis to build software for everyone's benefit. We improve on the work of others, and then share our improvements on the same basis.

This Code of Conduct covers your behavior as a member of the OCN community, in any forum, mailing list, wiki, web site, IRC channel, public meeting or private correspondence.

    • Do your homework. It will be helpful to you if you research your answer a bit before asking. Check the documentation and search the forums for similar questions and solutions first.
    • Be respectful. The OCN community and its members treat one another with respect. Everyone can make a valuable contribution to OCN and its collaborative projects.
    • Be collaborative. Collaboration improves the quality of the software produced. Keep the OCN community informed of your ideas and results, and be open to the ideas of others.
    • When you disagree, consult others. Disagreements, both political and technical, happen all the time. The important goal is not to avoid disagreements or differing views but to resolve them constructively.
    • Community is a many-to-many relationship. As a free-will community, we hope you share your knowledge by providing community support for others.
