After years of bringing you certified binaries with CollabNet Subversion, CollabNet has added even more value – all for FREE in a new open source download called CollabNet Subversion Edge.

How is it Different?

Most certified binaries contain only the Subversion server. CollabNet Subversion Edge goes far beyond a single certified binary. It’s a complete certified stack of the most commonly used components of a Subversion environment:

• Apache web server
• Subversion Server 1.6
• ViewVC for repository browsing

It also includes a brand new secure, web-based console to configure and manage all of it easily, from a central location. 

What if I’ve already got Subversion?

Subversion Edge is simple to install and you can easily upgrade from your existing Subversion installation. After the first upgrade to Subversion Edge, say goodbye to manual upgrades from then on. Subversion Edge comes complete with an auto-update feature to keep everything in the stack current, compatible, and certified to work together.
