- 1. Does ScrumWorks Pro provide metrics to help forecast release completion?
  - Yes. In Scrum, traditional task based metrics are replaced by reporting that analyzes the rate at which full product increments are completed. The forecast completion chart provides a graphical projection of schedule based on the rate at which team(s) complete work and the rate at which scope changes have affected the project.
- 2. Does ScrumWorks Pro scale to big sites?
  - ScrumWorks Pro is used by some of the largest software development organizations in the world with hundreds of simultaneous users. ScrumWorks Pro is built on highly scalable and mature "Java Enterprise Edition" infrastructure. Rest assured that performance is a top priority for our development team as well. With each new release, our development team improves performance by profiling and eliminating bottlenecks.
- 3. How can I request new features?
  - ScrumWorks Pro is as useful as it is today because of user feedback. While you are welcome to submit a support case, we would encourage you to consider submitting your feature ideas in our community portal so that others can vote and comment on your suggestion.
- 4. I want to integrate external applications or reports with ScrumWorks Pro, is that possible?
  - Yes. ScrumWorks Pro offers a robust web services API for just such a purpose.
- 5. Our organization has many projects divided into programs, will ScrumWorks Pro allow us to host all our projects on a single ScrumWorks Pro server?
  - Yes. A single ScrumWorks Pro server can host an unlimited number of projects.
- 6. What organizational configurations does ScrumWorks Pro support? For example, can I have multiple teams working against a single product backlog?
  - ScrumWorks is a multi-user application designed for Scrum organizations from simple to complex enterprises:

- 7. I am a user of ScrumWorks Basic but I do not see it on the website any longer. Has it been discontinued?
  - Yes. Investments in features and functions have been focused on ScrumWorks Pro for some time, and as such, those products have diverged considerably. In an effort to consolidate our efforts and to ensure that our customers have access to the best Scrum Project Management tool on the market, we decided to discontinue support of ScrumWorks Basic. We urge customers to upgrade to ScrumWorks Pro to take advantage of the huge advantages this tool provides. You can request your ScrumWorks Pro 10 license at our registration page.
- 8. How much will it cost for me to upgrade my ScrumWorks Basic installation to ScrumWorks Pro?
  - The first 10 users in ScrumWorks Pro are provided at no charge. Additional users are charged on a subscription basis. The prices and volume discounts are detailed here. You can request your ScrumWorks Pro 10 license at our registration page.
- 9. Is the upgrade from ScrumWorks Basic to ScrumWorks Pro difficult?
  - No, migration of your data in ScrumWorks Basic is actually quite simple. A migration wizard guides you step by step through the process. ScrumWorks Pro is intuitive to implement and use, and we offer on-line tutorials that can help jump start your success. In addition, CollabNet is a leader in Scrum training and coaching. - 10. How does the ScrumWorks client-server system work?

- 11. What is the ScrumWorks Pro client-server architecture?
  - ScrumWorks Pro is distributed as a client-server application for multi-user access. For a complete description, see the Quick Start Guide Overview in the documentation for a full explanation of the ScrumWorks Pro architecture.
- 12. What server platforms/operating systems are supported?
  - The ScrumWorks Pro server is supported on Windows XP/Vista/7/2003/2008, Mac OS X 10.5.2+ 64-bit with Java 6 for Mac, and Linux with Sun/Oracle JDK 6.
- 13. What are recommended hardware requirements for the ScrumWorks Pro Server?
  - Hardware recommendations depend entirely on intended usage, but we recommend ScrumWorks Pro Server be installed on dedicated hardware. A PDF whitepaper on hardware guidelines is available in the documentation. ScrumWorks Pro is also available as a hosted SaaS implementation, which largely eliminates the need for you to worry about resource requirements.
- 14. What client platforms/operating systems are supported?
  - The ScrumWorks Pro Desktop Client is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7, Mac OS X 10.5.2+ 64-bit with Java 6, and Linux with Sun/Oracle JDK 6 and the KDE windows manager. The ScrumWorks Pro Web Client requires JavaScript and is compatible with Internet Explorer 7 and higher, Firefox 3.6 and higher, Chrome 9 and higher, or Safari 5.0 and higher.
- 15. Does my organization need any special software on the client side to run ScrumWorks Pro?
  - The ScrumWorks Pro Desktop Client requires the Sun or Apple Java Runtime Environment version 1.6 installed on each client computer.
- 16. Where can I download ScrumWorks Pro?
  - CollabNet provides a perpetual 10-user license of ScrumWorks Pro at no charge. Request your license and software through the registration form here.
