CollabNet Subversion Connector to HP Quality Center

This connector allows you to enable the version control functionality within HP Quality Center. With this feature enabled, your Quality Center test plans can be versioned in a CollabNet Subversion repository. This enables features such as rolling back to a previous version of a test plan as well as tracking who is working on a test plan. The history of changes that have been made to a test plan are also tracked.

• Allows artifacts to be versioned in a Subversion repository which provides a comprehensive audit trail of all changes to artifacts.
• Subversion commit emails provides communication to team members of changes to test artifacts.
• Seamless to the Quality Center user other than the new versioning-related features it adds. This means there is little impact on existing users in how they use Quality Center. All of the user interface changes come from Quality Center and use Subversion transparently behind the scenes.

Enables versioning feature of Quality Center

• Access previous versions of an artifact allows a user to go back to a previous version of a test plan.
• Audit trail of the changes that have occurred with an artifact allows users to see all changes that have occurred. They can see this from within Quality Center or by looking at their Subversion repository directly.
• Checkout/Check-in model on artifacts controls access to who is working on the artifact. This prevents users from overwriting each others’ work and increases team communication within the Quality Center user interface.
