CollabNe introduces CollabNet TeamForge 5.3, the upcoming version of the company’s award-winning ALM platform. CollabNet TeamForge 5.3 includes a significant breakthrough capability called “Dynamic Planning,” which enables development teams to manage and model both project scope and timeline in a single user interface. The new release also includes an out-of-the-box best-practices Agile development template that enables teams to start an Agile-based project quickly and easily while still flexibly supporting other methodologies.

Dynamic Planning with CollabNet TeamForge 5.3

November 10, 9am-10am PST
Panelist: Nathan Hess, Senior Solution Consultant, CollabNet

This hands-on, live demonstration will showcase the benefits of Dynamic Planning - an innovative set of features introduced in CollabNet TeamForge 5.3, an application lifecycle management (ALM) solution for distributed teams. Dynamic Planning provides a level of flexibility that is absent in most ALM solutions, including:

• N-level Scope Hierarchy: Organize features and work items (epics, stories, tasks, defects, etc.) into parent/child relationships, all in an intuitive tree view
• Planning Folders: Model products, releases, iterations, or any arbitrary “backlogs” and populate them with scope and work items from any level of the feature hierarchy
• Agile Burn Down Charts: Get state-of-the-art burn down charts to assess progress and projected completion time for any planning folder at any level
