    CollabNet names 20-year software veteran as vice president of business development

    BRISBANE, Calif., February 15, 2005 — CollabNet, the leading provider of on demand distributed software development solutions, today announced that Chris Clabaugh has joined the CollabNet executive management team as vice president of business development.

    Clabaugh, who brings over 20 years experience in the software industry to CollabNet, will oversee the strategy and implementation of a global channel sales organization, enabling CollabNet partners to expand their market reach and create new revenue opportunities.

    Prior to joining CollabNet, Clabaugh served as the vice president of Application Partner Market Development for Progress Software where he directed the overall vision, programs, and forward-looking strategies that helped increase the success of Progress Application Partners in delivering their best of breed business applications. He also led the strategies and programs that enabled Progress Partners to leverage the business opportunities of delivering software as a service.

    Clabaugh was also a co-founder and CEO of Allegrix, Inc., which in June 2001, was acquired by Progress Software as part of its ASPen Program initiative. In addition, he has also held key positions at The Santa Cruz Operation as a charter member of the Tarantella Division and Corollary SA in Cape Town, South Africa.
