Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) consists of procedures and tools that guide project members through the various aspects of the development lifecycle. ALM Templates allow you to configure project workspaces to support your processes. You can templatize your own process or download one of the customizable templates provided by CollabNet.
You must have CollabNet Enterprise Edition version 4.5.1 (or later) and be a domain administrator to import ALM project templates. To install a project template, use the following steps:
Download the desired template by clicking on a download button on this page.
Save the .jar file to your computer.
Log into CollabNet Enterprise Edition with a domain or host administrator account.
In the left navigation of the Administration tab, click the Project templates option.
Click the Import link on at the top of the Project templates administration page.
Click the Browse button and select the [foo].jar file you downloaded in step 2.
Click the Import button to start the ALM template import process (import may take several minutes).
Click the Status link on the Project templates page to see the status of the import.
When the import is done, the template will show up in the Start new project page.
