• OpenMake Mojo

OpenMake Mojo is a free commercially supported workflow automation and continuous integration server. Mojo automates the execution of standard application lifecycle tasks, centralizes reports and logs, and facilitates teamwork through improved workflow handoffs. Mojo integrates with CollabNet Subversion by monitoring file changes and initiating a continuous integration loop for build to release activities, including Subversion check-out, build script execution, testing, code coverage and email notifications.

Improve Efficiency by Standardizing Repetitive Build to Release Tasks

Reduces Errors through Synchronized Teamwork - Coordinating multiple tasks is a complex process involving the cooperation of many teams and departments. Through Mojo workflow management, a workflow can be defined once and "promoted" to another group. This team hand-off is secured through Mojo User Groups and privileges. Workflow email notification shares knowledge across the enterprise by providing status updates on the workflow process. Mojo workflows enable fast, secure and self-documented hand-offs, minimizing the risk of propagating defects between development and release teams.

    • Streamline using Automation: Mojo automates the execution of application lifecycle tasks into a single Workflow. Out-of-the-box integrations with Subversion, Ant, Maven, make scripts, OpenMake Meister, testing tools, code coverage utilities and email notifications allow developers to define their build to deploy workflow from a central location. Mojo workflows can then be executed via a CI trigger, scheduled or called by an external process allowing them to be easily integrated into TeamForge.
    • Secure Workflow Management: A separtion of duties can be easily defined between production control teams and development teams, allowing proudction control and development to execute different workflows. User and Group security ensures that proper control is maintained across the application lifecycle.
    • Flexible Interoperability: The Mojo Ecosystem connects tools, processes, and people, keeping versioning tools, build scripts, IDEs, testing solutions and deployment tools working effectively across the enterprise. Through plug-in reuse, Mojo improves productivity by automating repetitive processes. Developers use plug-ins to streamline their application lifecycle workflow without having to re-invent the wheel. Standard Subversion plug-ins are provided out of the box.

Continuous Integration - Mojo provides a centrally managed Continuous Integration process that can be easily configured for each individual development team and Workflow. The Mojo CI Server can be customized to meet the needs of different development teams including configuring quiet times and choosing their favorite versioning tool. Several standard Subversion integrations are also provided out-of-the-box.

    Why OpenMake Mojo and CollabNet?

Supporting a build to release workflow and continuous integration process that can be integrated into the CollabNet framework helps teams by standardizing how the many pieces of the application puzzle are put together. By aggregating many application lifecycle steps into one Workflow 'container' that can be easily re-executed via a CI trigger, scheduled or called by TeamForge, Mojo simplifies and controls the entire application lifecycle process. This reduces errors, helps teams keep in sync and centralizes reports.
