    Victor Szalvay
    Senior Director, ScrumWorks Engineering

Victor Szalvay currently leads product development for CollabNet's ScrumWorks® product suite. In that capacity, he works closely with customers, stakeholders, and the development teams to deliver high business value each release cycle. With more than 150,000 active users worldwide, ScrumWorks is used by more than half of the Fortune 100 and boasts the largest market share of any Agile management tool.

Victor, and ScrumWorks, came to CollabNet through the acquisition of Danube Technologies, Inc. in February of 2010. Victor co-founded Danube in Seattle, Washington in August 2000 and was its CTO. Danube's business centered on Agile and Scrum products and services, helping organizations transition to Agile management practices. Central to this transition in business strategy was the development of ScrumWorks, a Scrum-specific project management tool and Danube’s flagship product. Danube also brought a training and consulting division to CollabNet, called ScrumCORE, which provides Agile coaching to clients through public and private courses as well as onsite engagements.

Victor is a Scrum project and organizational management expert based on years of hands-on coaching and training experience, helping many global companies transition to Scrum. He is a Certified Scrum Trainer, a rare designation by the Scrum Alliance permitting Victor to teach the Certified ScrumMaster course.

Victor graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in biochemistry.
