Guy Marion

Guy Marion oversees worldwide public cloud initiatives at CollabNet, and previously served as CEO of Codesion Inc. (formerly CVSDude.com), which was acquired by CollabNet in 2010. Guy joined Codesion in October 2006 as its first business hire. Under his leadership, Codesion increased monthly revenue by more than 700%, launched the industry’s first enterprise-grade hosted solution (Professional Edition), raised $1.2M in Angel funding and established strategic partnerships with oDesk and Joyent.
Prior to Codesion, Guy completed a Ph.D. where he earned university distinctions for his work, publishing in scientific journals and speaking regularly at conferences and in the media. Before that, Guy was an Analyst with San Francisco-based Broadlane Inc., a consulting group managed by a former McKinsey & Company principal, and worked in high-technology recruiting in San Francisco.
Guy is a frequent speaker on cloud-related topics and is a regular contributor to several publications. He holds a B.S. from Stanford University and a Ph.D. from the University of Queensland, Australia.
