David Parker
Vice President and General Manager, Scrum Business Line
David Parker leads CollabNet’s Scrum Business Line business unit. In this role, David focuses on driving the strategic direction, positioning and sales of the company’s Scrum-related tools and services. David brings deep experience in the strategies and tactics of delivering impactful software engineering solutions to the market. Over the course of his 20+ year career in the software tools business, he has held leadership roles in sales, sales management, product management and product marketing.
David joined CollabNet from Electric Cloud, a provider of automated build solutions, where he served as Director of Asia Pacific operations. Prior to that, he was with Serena Software, where he served in a variety of capacities including Director of Product Management/Marketing and Vice President of Asia Pacific.
David is a frequent speaker on best practices in Agile. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Emory University and his Master’s Degree from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). He is a certified ScrumMaster.
