Richard Murray
Vice President, Engineering
Richard brings more than 20 years of experience in software development to CollabNet, the majority of which has focused on enterprise software development and organizational transformation. At CollabNet, Murray is responsible for all global software engineering efforts relating to all CollabNet products.
Richard joined CollabNet as Vice President of Engineering from Reuters Ltd. (RTR.L), the global information company. At Reuters, Richard served as Vice President of Engineering where he managed Enterprise Solutions development including building the core of Reuters's strategic Market Data Distribution System and the Reuters Internet Finance Platform. He also led a global transformation initiative that established a more open, standardized and simplified development environment within Reuters.
Prior to joining Reuters, Richard was with TIBCO Finance Technology Inc. where he oversaw enterprise software engineering activities in both the US and the UK. In the UK he led the creation of TIBCO Finance's first non-US product development center. Prior to TIBCO, Richard held a variety of software development and professional services management positions at Digital, British Aerospace, and GEC/Marconi. Richard holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree which he completed with First Class Honors.
