This highly interactive, one-day workshop is intended for advanced Software Configuration Managers (SCM), and administrators who are not familiar with Subversion concepts, but face the challenge of migrating from an existing SCM system.
The workshop will provide practical information and best practice techniques for data migration and rolling out Subversion at an enterprise level. It will focus on the fundamental concepts of Subversion 1.5 compared with other tools, and demonstrate how the latest enhancements will support recommended deployment scenarios. Each session will start with the theory of concepts and best practices and then break out into practical workshops based on real-life enterprise scenarios. (Numbers are strictly limited to ensure optimum personal instruction.)
